About us

It is in the beautiful valley of Barguillière, in Ariège, that Thierry Berchot and his family found their rare pearl – an old house that used to be a forge, then a fishery, and now a restaurant and B&B “La Ciboulette”.

Thierry’s vocation and passion is creative cooking. He has always cooked – for his family, then for his fellow artist-painters while living and painting in the USA. His travels to Japan and India added a new dimension to his cooking – enhanced with exotic falvours and colours.
